Fuji
Trut,Bort 04 was a Su-30MKI, it has now been 'converted' into a development aircraft for the Malaysian Su-30MKM. The bump on the spine (there is another one on the lower front fuselage) is the multi-facetted antenna for the SAAB/Avitronic Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS). The Malaysians have specified that they don't want any Israeli kit on their aircraft, so the Israeli parts on the Su-30MKI are being replaced by Swedish & South African systems. I am (slowly) making a model of the Su-30MKM - here are the differences:- Topside.. Underside.... There are some good pics of the 'production' Su-30MKM rollout at:- http://pilot.strizhi.info/2007/05/26/3705 Even better - saves you having to search the site :- http://pilot.strizhi.info/2007/05/27/3796#more-3796 HTH Ken Ken this is impressive. Anymore images of this build with details as to kits and sets used?
kuman
I have a walkaround. Do you need just the wingfold or anything else? for now just the wingfold mechanism for both wings and the rudder... later on maybe the whole set that makes this SU-33 different from the normal SU-27 UGPM.. ;) Ken this is impressive. Anymore images of this build with details as to kits and sets used? i believe Ken got a website for this build.... i also completed one but nothing compared to Ken's work...if you want a peek.. go to my site as in my Signature kuman

svaz
Found these Fencer picks while perusing the -35 thread. This has got to be the coolest paint job a Fencer has ever worn. If I weren't in the middle of a DC-10 and Il-86 build right now I'd start this one tonight! http://pilot.strizhi.info/wp-content/uploa...img_6046_sm.jpg http://pilot.strizhi.info/wp-content/uploa...img_6051_sm.jpg http://pilot.strizhi.info/wp-content/uploa...img_6062_sm.jpg http://pilot.strizhi.info/wp-content/uploa...img_6066_sm.jpg
