sundowner
Pima's F-14 (160684) has been repainted as a Sundowners bird: This Tomcat 160684 was one of the original F-14's which VF-111 received in 1978 when they transitioned from the F-4N to the F-14A . ( 02 Dec 1978 VF-111 NL-211 ) It's great to see that a museum is doing some research for authenticity !! My compliments , Henk "Omar" Edited October 22, 2007 by sundowner

Timvkampen
No offense taken, I'm not always 100 % on the mark and have no probs admitting it. The sheet was for 1/48 scale Another Shot w/ some interesting info Awesome Hasegawa build The build is nice but not correct. As far as I know no F-8E of VF-111 has flown (or no pics are known) with that load-out of bombs. Also, the frontwheel has the 'horns' attached. This was only introduced with the F-8J as I recall. Other than that, a nice clean build. Which reminds me to finish mine.
Fuji
What model Crusader is that??? Is it a C or E?? And this is great stuff!!!! I'm in SunDowner heaven!!!! Neither, its an F-8H which is a reworked D. Right Mizar?
Timvkampen
Yes, Cutting Edge and Wolfpack resin to be exact (and maybe also Aires). Tim

Fuji
Those are AWESOME Henk, Thanks! So does anyone make a decent 1/48 kit of the FJ-3M? I know Hobby Boss has an FJ-4, two of them actually, coming out before the end of the year, but 111 didn't fly the FJ-4 Edited October 28, 2007 by Fuji
