ron
Here is the latest on the bench. I do not build much Luftwaffe content but thought the rest of my 1/32 builds needed some German company (soon Japanese also with a Tamiya Zero). This kit build fast, really fast. I really like this paint scheme also, I didn’t pick it because it was easy, I just thought it was sporty looking with the black nose and yellow stripe? A little dull coat tonight and some weathering this weekend and this one is done. Hope you like, comments welcome And I didn't think it would look right by itself so I started this Pro-Modeler 109 last night. It will be in the kits desert markings and heavily weathered. I haven't done a heavily weathered kit in awhile.
Bill
Looks good Ron. I want to build this kit again. I purchased the HAS 190D 1/32 and want to start it. I may go ahead and buy another one. <_<
Hagar
Nice build Ron. I'll have to practice restraint and finish what I've already started which wont be easy when looking at your builds. James
ron
Thanks guys, Here is a little up date. Got the dull coat on now. I noticed a pretty big screw up I made on this last night. I painted the wheel wells, landing gear doors and landing gear RLM 66, it should be RLM 02. I am to far down the road with this one to fix it now. Oh well. I won't make that mistake on the 109 Thanks for looking
Chris Kethan
Looks great, Ron! I love that scheme on the Wurger. Chris
smithery
Great looking Fw190 Ron. This one kinda came out of left field, as I was following your Spit 22, and got the hint that a 190 was coming, but not that fast! As for the wheel wells etc, if someone calls you on it, ask them for a picture of the real thing to back up their claim. :D Edited October 20, 2007 by smithery
woodbeck3
I love the Butcher Bird and this one looks awesome Ron.
ron
Thanks guys, Kevin this one was in the works along with the Spit mk 22. I didn't post any in progress picks until I had some paint on it. For this kit all you do is slit the box with a knife, pour in some Tennex, shake it and out pops a finished airframe for paint. Kind of boring until you get to the paint stage. I agree about the wheel well color, I am not to worried about it. Here are a few more update pics. Weathering is mostly done except for a little exhaust and some mud on the wheels. In taking these pics I noticed that I managed to knock off the rudder post antenna mount last night. I'll have to fudge one out of card stock, Oh well. Should have this one wrapped up this weekend and will post the finished pics Comments welcome
