Recommended Posts

I've got a couple shots from the web but if anyone has some better more detailed referance shots it would sure make scratch building them much easier!

Thanks for any help you'all can give me.

Cheers,

Larry.

HTH ...

Gregg

Thanks Gregg. I've got all those but I was looking for some that would get closer to and maybe into how the ducts actually go. I'm sure they go forward but how deep and how sharp of a turn type of deal.

I do however appreciate your reply very much!

Cheers,

Larry.

I don't have any that would show what you're looking for. I'd see if I could get some shots for you, but I believe the Rippers are off to the boat, or will be shortly. Brian M. might be able to get something for you. I believe -103 still has the older style vents.

Thanks Darren.

How about it Brian M. Do you have any or can you get some that show the details of the early ECS vents?

I've been looking at the Revell and Hasegawa representations and it looks like at least Revell tried to capture something like what they looked like but not enough relief and Hasegawa just milled out the whole area. Sure there is enough relief but no diverter partitions whatsoever. So I'm drilling and filing out a Revell extra upper fuselage to see how to best represent these but would sure like to see what they look like from the extreme top and at angles to see which way everything goes.

Sure would appreciate any help you can give me.

Cheers,

Larry.
