The Rat Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Here's one, note a couple of things - that little extra spike on the side is not level, it's twisted down. Also the pitot in this shot is head on, but the angle is from underneath the aircraft. When viewed from the side the pitot actually points slightly downward. This is because when the aircraft is flying it has a nose-up attitude so the pitot is angled to catch the airflow directly: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
