richuk
Hello gents, Just got a 1/48 Monogram apache from Ebay fro only £1.75, but there are no decals (also no box and no instructions). The instructions I've downloaded off the Revell site, but still a bit stuck for the decals. Who makes a set? I'm sure I've seen a set with a Sharks mouth, but can't remember who, where or when. Wasn't Joseph @ Fireball planning on bringing out a set? I'm open to a "what if" version, so maybe a Marine Sea Apache, or how about a Russian version?? I wonder if any Ka-50 or Mil 28 Havoc decals would fit? Thanks for any replys. Rich Edited November 1, 2007 by richuk

Cobrahistorian
If it is an AH-64A, just wait a little bit. The IsraDecals and Twobobs sheets are both for Longbows and neither is accurate. IsraDecal does Israeli A (Peten) markings too, but if you're into US markings, you're SOL at present, but that will be changing sometime in the not too distant future. richuk
Thanks for those replys guys. The isradecal set looks great, which is probably why it's sold out at Hannants. As regards which type of -64 it is, I have no idea until I receive the kit as it was sold with no box/decals/instructions. .....and yes Jon....tell us what you know. Mike W.
The IsraDecals and Twobobs sheets are both for Longbows and neither is accurate. Jon, What's wrong with the Twobobs sheet? I've found their sheets to be very accurate (well, a few Hornet sheets I've actually compared with pictures, anyway). I have a Hasegawa Longbow kit on the way and was thinking about picking up the TB sheet. Thanks, Mike
Cobrahistorian
Mike, The font for the national insignia and tail numbers (except the tail number for 25288) are completely wrong and the tail number 50111 is completely fictional. 50111 would indicate that it was a 1995 build and Longbows didn't start coming off the production line until 1996 and then only in small numbers. 05111 is not correct either, since that would indicate that it was a 2000 bird, but the 1999 series went up through 95158. The correct number is 95111, 1999 build. I've mentioned this to Bob and pretty much got the cold shoulder after that. Oh well... As far as what I know... well, lets just say it is coming and I am rather excited. :D Edited November 3, 2007 by Cobrahistorian
Mike W.
Thanks Jon. Looks like I'll just have to wait and see what's in the works. Mike
Cobrahistorian
As for the decals... lets just say I wish the Army put names on canopy rails. Then I could be like Waco. ;)
