Grant in West Oz
A few snaps scanned from prints. These are from Cunderdin West. Aust. 2003. The occasion was the 60th Anniversary of a Liberator going down in the district, with a full crew lost. The P-51's over in the East now. G

Mumbles
One of the two airworthy Mustangs in NZ, ZK-TAF 'NZ2415'. IIRC the airframe is largely ex-Indonesian AF, restored in the early 80's and flying in NZ since 1984. SH

gary1701
Hi all, Both of Maurice Hammonds P-51D rebuilds at last weekends Bentwaters Cold War Museum open day. 'Janie' has been flying for a number of years but 'Marinell' only completed restoration late last summer and this was the first time I've seen it. It must be quite nice to have a choice of Mustangs to fly! No airborne shots as it clouded over at the wrong moment, which is a shame as he certainly knows how to pose one for the camera. KevinJarvis
Taken at Scott AFB "Airpower over the Midwest" airshow last year. I also have a couple of this bird in a heritage flight with an F15 but they aren't very good. Here are some shots from a Fly-In at St.Louis Regional a few years ago. A 3/4 scale Mustang. Fully operational too. The ultimate model kit. Edited June 20, 2009 by KevinJarvis
