Chappie
My lunacy continues. In case anyone ever produces a 1/48th B-36, I'm collecting refs on the B-36 Parasite Program. I recall reading an online article once where a modeler built the Monogram B-36 and the GRB-36 with an F-84 Parasite Fighter. It was an in-flight display. I cannot for the life of me find it again. Does anyone know where it is? BTW- I have decided to combine a Revell B-29 with an FM (or is it Special Hobby?) XF-85 Goblin. :) Chappie

Harold
http://www.f84thunderjet.com/ This was his site...It has been down for a few years now. It was the best reference on anything to do with the F-84. This is his passion too. http://www.birdphotographique.com/ Edited November 8, 2007 by Harold

j-basset
Didn't Revell announce at the i-Model Expo this year that they were going to release the GRB-36 FICON in 1/72? No other details that I know about, though. Also mentioned was a 1/48 AC-47. Jason C.
Chappie
Thanks Andre. That is the article I was thinking of. If Sanger ever releases a 48th B-36, I want to display the GRB-36F jacked up by its main gear and the RF-84K being hoisted into the bomb bay. There is a sequence of photos of this in my big Jacobsen B-36 book. Chappie
