GRB-36 & RF-84K model

Recommended Posts

My lunacy continues. In case anyone ever produces a 1/48th B-36, I'm collecting refs on the B-36 Parasite Program. I recall reading an online article once where a modeler built the Monogram B-36 and the GRB-36 with an F-84 Parasite Fighter. It was an in-flight display. I cannot for the life of me find it again. Does anyone know where it is?

BTW- I have decided to combine a Revell B-29 with an FM (or is it Special Hobby?) XF-85 Goblin. :)

He has it in his living room. Big and very well done.

Thanks Andre. That is the article I was thinking of. If Sanger ever releases a 48th B-36, I want to display the GRB-36F jacked up by its main gear and the RF-84K being hoisted into the bomb bay. There is a sequence of photos of this in my big Jacobsen B-36 book.
