aerofan
Could someone tell me if 1/48 scale Revell (RoG) kit#04562 Canadair CL-13 Sabre Mk. 6 (F-86F-40) model is just a repop of the old Monogram F-86 one or is it new with recessed panel lines, etc.?
ChernayaAkula
It's a re-pop of the Hasegawa kit. SPRUE SHOTS, if this is the kit you're talking about.
Silverback
As mentioned, its a re-pop of the Hasegawa F-86F-40. It includes resin wingtips and a white metal pitot probe, with instructions on how/where to cut. Some boxes have additional plastic wingtips and pitot, which is great because the resin tips are too thin. Slats are molded shut, and sugar scoop intakes are not included. The ejection seat is the North American variety; not the Martin Baker of later German Sabres. The extensive decal sheet include markings for two camo German Mk.6s, and a single NMF U.S F-86F-40.
