Hajo L.
Without much text, the model is a bit older now (about 2 years, so excuse the dust). It´s the Itraleri C-130E kit with the Flightpath conversion and some LEDs. Wiring and circuits done by my brother, rest is my work. ;) The Fulton Recovers System in all it´s beauty: New tail, made of metall. Needed a lot of weight in the nose to counter... Light show!! Aggressor Supporter
Nice MC-130 build. And very cool effect with the lights! Good job to your brother.
aircommando130
Good looking T1...but...the T1 does not have the towel rack antenna's on top the fuselage...that is a T2 thing. The fulton nose birds had the HF antenna's from the wings back to the stabilizer and over to the fuselage...that way they wouldn't get tangled in the liftline from the fulton balloon. And the MC-130E's were all 64 tail numbers...except for the 2 renumbered non fulton birds that belonged to the 1st SOS. 64-0506 AND 64-0507 became 62-1843 and 63-7785. Good job on a tough bird...Ron
Hajo L.
I have to admit that serial-numbers are definetely something I don´t care too much... I just applied those that came with the C-130E and that´s it. For those antennas... Well, I thought that could look like some cool extra gear, didn´t thought that it might endanger the FRS-operations. HAJO
