yukon john
I am looking for a reasonably accurate 3-view with dimensions or drawing of the Ryan B-1. They were the model that followed the build of the Spirit of St. Louis. The Spirit was a modified Ryan - I am looking for drawings of the standard production model with windshield. Any assistance or direction to a source would be appreciated. Regards, John Gryba Whitehorse, Yukon Canada
vjhl2000
William Wagner's book "Ryan Broughams and Their Builders" has 3-view of B-5 made by Paul Matt The differences between B1....B5 ( engine, landing gear, tail etc ) are explained in the text. This book is available from http://aviation-heritage.com. This same 3-view can also be found from the same source in three other formats: -book: Paul Matt Scale Airplane Drawings vol 2 -cd-rom: Paul Matt Collection-archive 4 -3-view After writing that, I did some googling and now I know you have a replica of B-1 in your own Yukon Transportation Museum. Try to contact the people who made the replica.
