Anti-Demonstration against a right wing demo , Demonstrations against right wing radicalism, for tolerance and all those things. I thought it'll be interesting to see so many people, (plus 5500 policemen), chaos, maybe escalations..... and it was interesting. First two posts show the work of the police, last two of people in/from Cologne & demonstrants. Cloggy
Wow there's some impressive photography on this thread. And what a beautiful Redstart! Wish I could photograph one of those. I've been into photography for years (as a complete amateur only!) starting my 35mm run with a Zenith 'E' then progressing to a Pentax (that broke) and ending up with a lovely fully-manual Ricoh KR-5 with 28mm, 35-135mm and 70-300mm lenses. Today I am using digital - I spent a few years using a lovely Fuji S5000, but recently I have bought a Fuji S8000FD and have just started to take some photos with it. Below are a few of my digital photos with the S5000 and S8000FD. Some lovely old diesel locos at the Eastleigh 100 event This gorgeous sunset at Urchfont, Wiltshire last December Boat and a large, fast ship at Swanage, Dorset Evening at Westbury station. MA Cooke
Went to my favorite place to shoot, a barber shop. Slowly dying piece of "Americana", the last bastion of manliness. Did some B&W and color work. EDIT - my "Flickr" account was hacked and deleted, it's restored now, I'll have to re-post a bit later.
