Supertom
Hi everyone (especially Malaysian modelers) Can anyone tell me what armament loads are available on TUDM F-18s? I've only seen them with drop tanks. I've got a ton of A-G ordnance here with nothing to stick it on. Thanks!
Andre
I think they use Maverick. The Malaysians use their Hornets predominantly in the strike role, with the MiG-29s bearing the brunt of the air-to-air work. HTH, ANdre
ChernayaAkula
What about AGM-84 Harpoons? Don't they use their Hornets in an anti-shipping role as well? :D

j-basset
To my knowledge, you can arm a model of a TUDM F/A-18D with: AIM-9P-4 (not -9L, although we have training rounds for it) AIM-7M AGM-84A AGM-65 (not sure which mark) GBU-12 CRV-7 FFAR pods SUU-30 training dispenser Nitehawk FLIR pod The AIM-120 is a new acquisition. Also heard that JDAM's have been requested. Jason C.

Supertom
OK, first off, thanks to everyone who responded to my question. I have second question: I've managed to scratch what I think is a pretty decent GPS dome, but I've given up on scratchbuilding the underslung ALE-47 dispenser blisters under the intakes. Does anyone make an aftermarket set in 1/72?
GA.modelmaker
no one in 1/72 but they were made in 1/48 but i cant remember who right now. thats why i made the switch to 1/48 to many darn good looing decal sheets coming out and plenty of aftermarket goodies to put on them
