Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Perfect waste of modeling time but very funny stuff. Only and 3P could come up with this much free time to make a video this long and in depth. My 'props' to the Prop-heads! With all the box lunches, I feel like I'm watching an Air Force video. Just don't eat lunch before watching the Foozball scene... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6554713845142828957 BTW, I grew up next to Moffett Field and always enjoyed watching the P-3's fly over. -brian
Dan 88
LOL. That's awesome. Saved on the iPod now.... Daniel
thetoe17
That was classic. My favorite part was right at the beginning during the opening scene spoof with the Top Gun anthem...when they show some ordies wheeling what appears to be the business end of a missle around...until they pan left and its just a fuel tank. For some reason that made me laugh really really hard.
Chris Kethan
God, that brings back some memories... The Crypto box, PQS, box lunches...... I actually played alot of games of Foosball on that table. I nearly $hit my pants when I heard the "Sanford & son" theme after takeoff.. What makes it REALLY funny is I actually lived that $hit... Chris
Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Chris - I thought you might enjoy that! I about fell out of my chair when Cletus runs for across the tarmac with all that stuff and collapses. -brian

Its interesting to see it fly in.
Jay Chladek
For a guy like me who never spent a day in any squadron, that was funny to watch. But if I ever see another Val Kilmer Iceman teeth clench from "Double E," I think I might have to shoot somebody. The weapon release footage at the end and the stuff from the Screaming Eagles (such as Wang Wei in his F-8 from missions previous to his "hey man, watch this" incident with Shane Osborn's EP-3) was also interesting to watch as well. The Rockeye drop was cool, as were the missile firings. Nice how that stuff was edited into the movie. Only thing that would have made it even more priceless would have been to show the rockeye drop and then cut to Saddam getting a bomb on him at the pool from Hot Shots. ;)
William G
Zoinks! 24 Airforce Box Lunches... OOPS Box Nasties... Stronger man than me Gunga Din... I used to hate having to be the runner for the flight kitchen... that was a smell that not even JP4 and Hydraulic fluid would get rid of... William G... Glad to not have to eat those anymore!!! parche
Pretty funny. Loved the actual footage at the end in the last six minutes or so and the ordnance stuff was cool too. Cheers, Dave

PBoilermaker
This video is/was pretty much required viewing in VP-30. What's even funnier is the attitude some S-3 guys have when they have to transfer over to P-3's. Apparently the P-3 community ****** a lot of other communities off with its collective "inability to take things seriously." Well, that and per diem which amounts to fraud, waste and abuse. EDIT: The shipdriving threat was admittedly funny, too. I'm glad they finally stopped dumping bitter flight attrites into the fleet, though.
