Sorry for the delay, I have been moved to the Night Vision Goggle training platoon, so about the only thing I have done is glue the fuselage together and get it ready for seam filling. I am hoping to get some more work on it this week and will get the photos on the board. My plan is to have it rady for the IPMS show in Anniston in April but I dont know Erick

Still havent been able to get alot done cause of the shift that I am on. All I have done is rescribe the fuselage panel lines after seam filling and that is about it. Hopefully I can get some more work done soon. Erick

Hey Erick how is the 727 coming. I'm dying for some new pictures.

Hey Chief,

Sorry I missed most of this but I've developed an interest lately in 727s for some reason and was just wondering how the project went. Sort of dropped off the SKE scope* back in April.

Many thanks,

Mark

*SKE scope = Station Keeping Equipment, a C-130 formation system!!

I read the post where you said you "found 3 figures for the flight crew."

Where did you find them? In Hasegawa's set?

I'd like to do the same for a Heller 707 and a Minicraft Stratoliner and those guys really look the part.

Great work all around--will be watching your progress.

Yes I modified some of them a little, still pluggin away on this one it has taken a back burner on some newer builds but I will get this finished soon. Erick

Gracias! Hard to find crew figs that can pass as civilians with no helmets/O2 masks--Hasegawa it is.

WOW this project is starting to look so real it's sacry :-) Man, I can't wait to see it finished... I really hope you will be able to see the crew through the windows when the clear plastic goes in... would be a shame to miss all the details inside.

Hey Erick,

You dio brings me fond memories. I made something similar years ago, one of my first projects after I returned to the hobby. Just slightly smaller, this is my 727 dio in 1/280 scale. Kit from Revell, truck from GHQ, the rest is scratchbuilt:

I wish I had your skills...

Congrats, excellent work.
