File cabinet full of decals at LHS

Recommended Posts

So I had an afternoon for a round of local hobby shop visiting.

One has a file cabinet with drawers full of decals. I spent about

an hour sifting through just the 1/72 and 1/48 jet stuff. Finally

got to see what all the fuss is about in reference to Fox One.

Nice stuff. Also saw a lot of Aeromaster, Super Scale and some

other names that escape my memory. There was just too much

to look at and remember. I do remember seeing some Fox One

B-1B and Phantoms stuff. I settled for the Cutting Edge 1/48

U-2A/C/D sheet for $3.00. Is that a good price for something

like that?

So what to do? I've been reading on the forums about some of

the decals you guys are looking for. And I'll bet I saw some of

of those today. Think I'll run a copy of the list of decals over at

Ben's Fox One website, go back to the shop and see what is in

the drawers. I know Ben has recently said he wants to get back

in the decal business and I'm getting in line for his 1/72 and 1/48

B-58 Hustler decals. But there just might be some of his "sold

out" stuff at the LHS, looking for new owners.

Any thoughts? Any requests?

Hey- I'm looking for CED48241, which is a Cutting Edge sheet called "4th But First", a 4th Fighter Wing sheet that has 4 F-15Es from the 335th Fighter Squadron out of Seymour Johnson AFB.

I think it's called "Fourth but First #3"

Any chance you could look for that one? :)

Well, looks like I'm putting together a shopping list. So far I have

things to look for from Ben, JB, Don and RJ. And so far, no repeats

amongst you guys. That's a good thing.

Now, no promises, but it's always fun to hope something will turn up.

I'm probably going back tomorrow afternoon. I'ts about a forty minute

drive from my home to the shop, so I want to make the trip count

(gas and time wise).

If I see duplicates of the ones you are looking for, what are my

instructions? Prices appeared to be your average LHS prices. I

don't recall seeing anything out-of-line.

Please call me Bill. I don't know why I picked fastwillie. That one

I use over at the Corvette forums.

Bill, I just want one of each. Let me know how much by PM. I'll pay however you want: paypal, money order, cheque, whatever.

Thanks again!

Hey willie....

Put me down for two B-58 Hustler decal sheets!! One for the Italeri 1/72nd scale B-58 and a 1/48th decal sheet for the Revellogram B-58...

I don't care who makes them, but I've been looking for sheets for both of my Hustlers....

Let me know if you find anything............ :crying2: <_<

Cheers, Ian

Ian, I know for a fact there aren't any of those, cuz I would have

snapped them up in a heartbeat. I highly recommend you go to

Ben's Fox One webpage and sign-up for the new newsletter list.

I have read on these forums Ben is strongly considering reissuing

the B-58 decals in both scales. So sign up and let him know you

will be buying a handful. I think the more people he hears from,

the better our chances will be of buying his really nice product

again. (Or in my case, for the first time).
