WymanV
Like it says... ;) Superscale decal sheet: A nice, easy mottled scheme. I painted the interior parts last week at work, and Sunday during the Superblowout I started the cockpit and went on a roll: It went better than the 205 build-the parts weren't broken, for one thing... Buttoned it up tonight, and got the wheel wells in: The little brace piece was a bit tricky to fit, but it went in. This one should go pretty quick too, and no smoke rings this time Ken
WymanV
...and ready for paint: The nice thing about these kits-they fall together nicely. The ugly thing about this build-the scheme I picked 1. has smoke rings on one wing, which I'm not going through again anytime soon, 2. can't be done correctly with the Superscale decals and 3. is quite overdone! So I picked another one. I'll show ya when it's done Ken
The Mikester
Looking good, Ken.
ch9862
...and ready for paint:That's pretty fast .
WymanV
Yup-really fast! Believe it or not, squiggles went faster than smoke rings. I think Mike needs a new challenge-when he's not pondering B-17 noses It was actually done Sunday night. I just finally had a chance to get pics today. Now I can kick back and check out the rest of the fine work on display here Ken

johnsan
Ohhh. Very nice, but what's not to like about a Macchi? I like your color choices. Which paints did you use?
The Mikester
You are a freakin' machine, my friend. I'm just getting ready to start my 202 so I can use yours as a reference. Nicely done!
kilroy
Man, I love C.202's! :o But...in the first couple of pics, was the seat upside down? Or rotated? Or something? It looks funny. But what the heck do I know?
WymanV
Hmmm...now that you mention it, that does look odd. IIRC, there was a part molded on the seat that fit into the peg on the floor so according to the molding, it's right. But it sure would've looked "righter" (did I make that one up?) the other way, huh? Oh yeah-paints are WEM, same ones I used on the 205 build. I sprayed this one at a higher pressure than the 205 and oddly, there was much less overspray. Thanks guys, Ken
WymanV
I never posted the rest of the pics for my last 2 builds so I figured I better while I still could-here's this one: And thanks for all the comments guys Ken
