theplasticsurgeon
Today I assembled the airframe around the cockpit: I've built Fujimi RF-4B, and F-4F previously - and don't remember either being this tricky!
rjwood_uk
looking good so far. what was tricky?
theplasticsurgeon
what was tricky? I didn't install the cockpit floor properly. Since then I've treated all the seams with liquid paper, and added airframe details. Hoping to do some airbrushing this weekend.

rjwood_uk
nice job. ...pictures of the underside would be good lol. did you do any pre-shading? Richard
theplasticsurgeon
nice job....pictures of the underside would be good lol. did you do any pre-shading? Richard The underside hasn't really changed since I (brush) painted it a few weeks ago - apart from the overspray in the wheelwells. Preshading isn't something I've ever tried yet. theplasticsurgeon
Airbrushed the Tan earlier today - useful as undercoat:
rjwood_uk
nice idea. are you going to give pre-shading ago? its really not hard and can be quite effective. and seeing as we are not judging on quality, this could be a good model to try it out on, and it dosnt matter if it turns out ok or not. at least you will learn a good lesson what ever the outcome.
