1/48 SCALE GROUND EQUIP.

Recommended Posts

hello Guys

well i'm working on the tow trucks at 1/48, to follow up my trucks at 1/32 in the PWMP GO NAVY line

the first one (the short older type) is almost ready, just have to make the wheels and others. decals are in the works, and about the price, i will try to sale them as cheap as possible.

i'm working also on the starter unit for the longer type.

the newer types are for the coming weeks.

greets

JP PWMP

Pretty interesting idea! A set in 72nd scale with ASRAAM, AIM-9X, IRIS-T, Python 4/5 would be pretty cool, too. They're appearing on more and more planes now. And they have to be scrounged from other kits.

And then there are the SDB, British LGBs, BL.755, Brimstone...

Yes on both accounts, but especially the 1/48 weapons.

Have all the USAF Hasegawa sets; definitely needed are:

AMRAAM's

New AIM-9L/M

SUU-30H series CBU's

SUU-64/65 series CBU's

GBU-38

GBU-31 w/BLU-109

Different AGM-65 versions w/LAU-117

LAU-68 for the A-10's

Litening and Sniper pods

LAU-128 w/adapters for F-15

Mk 82AIR

New ALQ-131

ALQ-184

and....

seated modern pilots

Hate to take anything away from the great aftermarket guys like Shawn Hull, Doctor Pepper etc., but I would kill for a good set that had 75% of above.

-60, C-10, Mule, Jammer, Nite Cart, Lo-Pack, High-Pack, 20mm Ammo Loader for F-16, Coleman MB-4, Maint Stands, Tool Bins, Fire Bottles, Fuel Truck, Pantograph for Hot Pits, Tow bars, Hmmmm let me see what else ...

Well for F-16's T.O.'s J.G's and some test Equipment .. Oh and a nosy Q.A. to make sure that we follow all the steps before starting the -60

hehe

And in addition to all the ground equipment, I'd like to see some newer figures for both USAF and USN subjects, especially in 1/48. Also, to the PWMP guy- your stuff looks fantastic! If you could offer some of those figures in 1/48 that you have in 1/32, that would be great!

But yes, figures to go with the ground equipment in injection molded form are needed- especially in 1/48, along with some MODERN 1/48 soldiers.

Dream come true= Modern US troops in MOPP gear! :nanner:

A definite yes to both for me as well. Step vans, crew cab pickups, bobtails, the big fuel trucks, updated AGE equipment, and some modern ground crew and cops! I'd also love to see some updated targeting pods, ACMI pods, and modern bombs/missiles. I do mostly US aircraft, but I'm sure there is a market for European and Russian as well.

Hi Raymund,

I'd love to see more ground support equipment (GSE) in 1/72 scale as well.

Some of the European stuff kitted by Revell is hard to come by.

What i'd like to see is more aircraft tow tractors, fuel browsers/trucks, and aircraft rescue fire fighting (ARFF) vehicles.

Even anti-FOD vehicles would be welcome

Some new GSE would be fantastic! The Hasegawa stuff is nice, but some of it is getting dated. Some suggestions:

The ubiquitous Hobart -86 diesel GPU - These things are on every USAF base worldwide

A modern aircon cart, like an MA-3D

An FLTT -Flight Line Tow Tractor - the bob-tailed tow tractor based on a Dodge or Ford pickup

While it's not a new piece, an MD-3 GPU would be cool (would go great with those '50's and '60's jets)

And a modern ARFF crash truck, like a P-23, would be really cool, too!

Well three years later the Dash 86 and MD-3 GPUs should be available by Christmas if all goes to plan!
