AnthonyWan
Looks pretty good... Even though 1/72 is not my main scale, I'll definitely try to pick one of these up :D
ChernayaAkula
Ooh, nice! Does that mean Hasegawa will re-box them for the Japanese market?
otis252
48th, 48th,48th,48th........ Chuck
F4DPhantomII
I hope Academys 1/48 kit looks as good.
Supertom
What's it doing on Hasegawa's site? Is Hasegawa reboxing it under their brand?
habu2
Ouch - look at thos ejection marks. Those are gonna be hard to fill...
MickeyThickey
Hasegawa was the Revellogram distributor in Japan. (hence all those Hasegawa EA-6Bs and F-105s you see on eBay) Guess they're distributing RoG now.
thegoodsgt
Habu, I'll betcha Aires or CMK does a replacement resin weapons bay.
Blennidae
Nice they have the exhausts in the wide open at rest state you see in pics.
volzj
At least most of those ejector pin marks appear as though they'll be hidden by weapons in the bay.
PNW_Modeler
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.....those marks will be covered. That is good looking kit
David Hingtgen
I sure hope there's also one-piece parts for those of us who want to build it with the bays closed. Trying to get 4 doors lined up in a closed position across the belly does not sound fun.
spykid33
OK 2 questions what is the release date and what is the aproximate msrp? TIA
Midnight Storm
Just might have to buy my first 1:72 scale model! The nose still doesn't look right to me...
Murph
At least most of those ejector pin marks appear as though they'll be hidden by weapons in the bay. Joe, Agreed, in addition, since the main and side weapons bays, along with the main gear wells are all seperate units, I'm sure the aftermarket folk will go to town on those and produce "drop in" replacements, ala the Aires set for the 1/72 RofG Tornado. I sure hope there's also one-piece parts for those of us who want to build it with the bays closed. Trying to get 4 doors lined up in a closed position across the belly does not sound fun. Yes, see here. Regards, Murph
Av8fan
Looks nice. I will get one for sure. IIRC wasn't someone doing a paint combination for the F-22??? OR did someone figure it out more or less? Looking at the size of the bays with the weapons, I was suddenly struck with a random thought about beer carriage. Racking for 2-4's and perhaps a barrel of a quality micro brew. Fly at altitude for a bit come down and nice cold beer. Unload and let the celebration commence. rjwood_uk
looks pretty good to me. will have to get one of these!! as for including the fans. maybe it is really just there as something to give strengh to the assembly of the intakes. who knows.
Waco
As I suspected, it looks like a Raptor.

Trigger
IIRC wasn't someone doing a paint combination for the F-22??? OR did someone figure it out more or less? Check out Mark S's Raptor articles archived on the main page.
Mercury
Nice to see the exhaust are separate - maybe finish my Italeri inflight and save the Revell for ground display. F-22 was base ModelMaster Aluminum w/ 20% Graphite and "shadows" consisting of Graphite with 25% Aluminum. FS36375 nose cone and leading and trailing edges. Clear coat canopy with either FS36176 or FS36257
