GA.modelmaker Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 well after i get the main body painted to day. it will be the fun part time of puting on all these decals for the f-15e tmota plane. which will be the best wa to do this. frist put on all the stenicl data or the tiger stripes frist? ChernayaAkula Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Just a guess, but I think that since the tiger stripes were applied after the stencils (and maybe covering some of the stencils) it would make sense to apply the stencil decals first. If there are overlapping decals, do you have to gloss coat between the layers? I read you're supposed to do that when using decal setting solutions. Does that apply to multi-layer decals without decal setting solutions as well? ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites

strikeeagle48 Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Data first, If you look at pictures of the jet,the stripes cover the no step markings on the movable tail surfaces.
