Participants and GB entries

So thats Roy in for a Tempest, MiG 21, Zero, Spitfire, G-91, T-2, Puma SDKFZTHINGY, Diamond T and trailer, LRDG set, Comet, USS Indianapolis, Skyservant, Beaufighter, that should keep him fairly busy for a couple of weeks ;)

Well, I could START that little lot, no problem.

As for finishing, however.....

OK. I've dragged out a Pk-31 Curtiss P-40N from the Matchbox stash, this will be a totally OOB build, only there's no box. It's a bagged kit bought on ebay. Actually, the reason it got picked is because it had no box so I couldn't feel guilty about building it. Also tempted on a PK-120 Havoc, and maybe another AH-1G. I've also recently discovered that the Irish Army used Comet tanks, and a Diamond T Transporter during the fifties. If I can get info on their colour schemes before this GB ends, I'll enter them too.

I'm in Johno

Just not sure what I'll build yet - will confirm later, maybe the Corsair you sent me, perhaps a Lightening T55.

Will probably be my only build this year - too bloody busy with other stuff, so glad I've got till Sept 08 to get it done.

OK, it's decided. Went into a huddle with the wife & kids, choice between a Walrus, Corsair, Lightening & Buffalo and the winner is.......

The Corsair ;)

Gonna practice some serious weathering on this one, just add a little scratching to cockpit (IP, belts, not much more) plusa little scratching on the outside (exhausts, brake lines).

Hello.

I'm in. I'll build at least PK-122. It will be the F-16B #50751. Naive modelling again so no headbanging just pure fun: no detailing, no correcting, gear up, model on the classic clear M stand.

Hi,

I'm fairly new on this Forum, but how to resist a MATCHBOX GB? Impossible!!!

My entry will be the Grumman F9F Panther (PK-124) in a Revell re-box. I'll use a few etched parts on this one, but I'm not yet sure which set I'll use, Eduard or Airwaves (Wingfold).

Welcome on board, great to see a newbie jumping straight in.

Well, I am currently working on my first model in 10 years <gasp> and I can tell that I will be hooked again for a while. I had been wanting to do a GB and figured this would be a great one to cut my teeth on.

I have chosen the PK-410 EA-6B Prowler. I bought it off of eBay (after losing in an auction for the F-101 Voodoo) and it just arrived in the mail today, still in its' shrink wrap.

I've never built a Matchbox kit, so I guess I'll see what I am getting into soon enough <_< I'll create a build progress thread once I actually start the kit.
