Thanks Richard and Jack-Swiss!

Richard,

Its still very dark and cloudy where I am right now but at least the drizzle/rain has stopped so maybe the sun might break through later today. This weather pattern has been in place for quite a while now and I can't wait for it to leave, it feels like March instead of late May/early June. The summers here are short enough already!

Thanks Rocat,

I looked at a number of photographs of 109s that had surrendered at Neubiberg in May of 1945 to get ideas for weathering my model. The very worn out and mud spattered look was a lot fun to try and copy on my 109. What I learned about weathering this model will be used on some of my large scale Fw 190D-9s later this year.
