jrallman Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 Welcome all to the PACAIR 2 GB. Several years back, we did PACAIR GB and it was one of the most successful GBs we have had on ARC. However, since then our WWII theme GBs have been conspicuously lacking in naval and Pacific subject matter. Thus, the PACAIR 2 GB was born. This GB is intended to be a very broad leap back in to Pacific themed builds, so the inclusion criteria are fittingly broad. If there are any questions about the rules or inclusion, don't hesitate to post your question for the mods on the forum. Other than that, happy building! - The GB will run from April 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008. All builds must be completed by midnight of your local time on September 30, 2008 (going into October 1) to be eligible for the raffle drawing, if we have sponsors. This is on the honor system. - Planes modeled must be from the Pacific theater of combat during WWII. This includes pre-Pearl Harbor combat in the Pacific area. Transport and support aircraft are eligible too. However, any planes flying for a country that has not yet entered combat are not included (ie: neutrality colors, yellow wings, etc.) - Planes should be less than 50% completed at the start of the GB. This is done to promote the group part of the Group Build. As such, we encourage you to post pictures of your progress as you build, and discuss and ask questions along the way in this forum. - Scratch building to any extent is allowed, including an entire scratch built plane if you like. Also, any aftermarket you want to use is fine too. - The GB moderators (jrallman, johnsan, and moeggo) will have the final say on all rules, inclusion, and GB questions. Don't like it?
