Douglas
Hi guys, In Hasegawa's instruction Mr. Color #331 Dark Sea Gray BS381C/638 and #335 Medium Sea Gray BS381C/637are stated for the fuselage colors. Comparing the Mr. Color colors with photos of real Harrier, would the grey(s) of Mr. Color too dark for the job ? I just feel so, what do you think ? Correct colours are Dark Sea Grey Top surfaces with Dark Camouflage Grey for the sides & undersides (there isn't a lot of difference between these two shades). Bobski
Graham's right. If you're looking for ready available colours, you can get both in Xtracolour/Xtracrylic. Alternatively you can use Humbrol 156 for the lighter fuselage areas, Humbrol 164 for the top.
Teeradej
So which Gunze Mr.Color should bo used correctly?
Jonathan Mock
BS381 638 Dark Sea Grey - Gunze H331 BS381 629 Dark Camouflage Grey - no Gunze match Your choices are to either seek out Dark Camouflage Grey from another paint company, or to mix your own "eyeball" version by adding some white to Dark Sea Grey.
