Fuji
Bah, the Intrepid class starship would fly circles around an Impstar deuce at sublight speeds! The ugliest ship in the Star Trek universe, EVER. One of the reasons I could never get into that show, the ship didn't fit.
ikar
Let's go back further. The XL-5 and the Galisphere. The Galishere was a somewhat unorthdox design.

kellyF15
Actually, I think the following is more appropriate;Y-wings are Phantoms X-wings are F-18 Vipers are F-16 A-wing are A-4 E-wings are Mirage 2000 TIE Defenders are Su-35 TIE X1 are Mig 29 TIE Interceptor is MiG 21 TIE I/n are Mig 19 TIE Bomber is SU-24 B-wings are indeed A-10 Buck Rogers starfighter is F-14 Tomcat Then again, I could be wrong Only thing I dont agree with is the A-wing being an A-4 It was pure interceptor, so definitely F-15A or F-14A and I think E-wing would be F-
kellyF15
As far as capital ships Battlestar Galactica, and the winner of all Refit Enterprise

cowie165
Same as plenty of other guys here: Gunstar, Sulaco, Viper MkII. If we're including anime then Supersylph, VF-1 and Yamato. This one's a bit weird but I always liked the Event Horizon. It's probably more the production and storyline than it actually being a cool design, but I like it nonetheless. I guess we could also have a thread for "Stupidest Looking Spacecraft" I'd probably start with those human fighters from Enemy Mine.
mkimages
I've always liked the runabouts from ST:DS9. Maybe not the prettiest ships ever (very neat looking, though), but still a great design for a star-travel capable ship that doesn't need a dedicated crew to operate and can also land. One would make a wonderful "space RV" to take exploring.
