nimrod77
I also have a couple of kits to bash to attempt an FB-111H (here's hoping I can make something decent of it). Now THAT I would like to see Ray  There used to be a painting of the F-111H on the wall in the now defunct 501WG when I was there. Not sure where it went to.... Cloggy
Sad to say, it looks like I'm gonna have to pull out of this GB. Too many other commitments just now queuing up for space on the tiny modelling table. Good luck to all and happy 'varkin'!!
bashace
Hello all, going to build this to display for the Australian AF folks who are working with us in the great sandbox to fight terrorism. I am working on a project to build an aircraft for each nations air force that is working here at base X. This will be displayed in a case with others from about 5 feet away at the main entrance to the base dining facility, so I'm really not too worried about the proper gauge on the fire extinguisher bottle in the cockpit. I'm hoping that this build with all you kind folks will keep me motivated to get this finished before the deadline. Today I cracked the seal on the box and comenced assembling all the simple sub assemblies (stabs, tail fin, basic cockpit assemblies, etc), my goal is to have the nose section completed by the end of this weekend (baby steps). "Let's roll" Aircraft model - F-111C Scale - 1/48 Manufacturer - Academy No mods at this point...gonna build it OOB Australian Air Force markings provided in kit Edited September 1, 2008 by bashace
