jack52
Hi guys, i'm absolutely clueless in heli modeling, my passion are modern jets in scale 1/48. I just ask for a friend of mine. quick question : are there any 1/32 scale heli pilots out there ? I mean, as assecories, not kit-included. civil pilots prefered, but military also. thanks in advance, Hans Edited April 25, 2008 by jack52
Green-Meanie
I'm not aware of any 1/32 pilots but there are these very nice 1/35 Nemrod figures. http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxprodu...uctCode=N35-201 I have a set myself and they are really nicely detailed. HeavyArty
I don't know of any 1/32 figures either. Here is a whole list of 1/35 helo pilots though. 1/32 and 1/35 are close enough to mix without issues, I have done it many times with the old Revell UH-1D/H and AH-1Gs. SuperCobra
"http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=96471&page=1" Cool - another helicopter model forum. Now I can post the same question and be annoying in four different forums. I'll have to think up a good callsign.

ChernayaAkula
<...> 1/32 and 1/35 are close enough to mix without issues. <...> I'm not so sure. 1/32 is about 9% larger than 1/35. Take a 175cm tall man (AFAIK, that's about average). He's exactly 5cm tall in 1/35, but about 5,47cm in 1/32. Quite a difference. Or the other way round. If you put the 1/32 figure into a 1/35 diorama he's about 191,5cm tall. Thinking about it, that's actually pretty cool. Adds more realism as the world doesn't consist solely of the 175cm "standard" dudes. Only make sure you keep the equipment in the same scale.

torchf4
Exactly, that is why it works. True and Dragon's 1/35 pilots seem move 1/32 anyway. Ever tried fitting them into a Blackhawk or Huey?? Not sure about the figures in Trumpeter's H-47 cockpit set though.
