Had to thin down the wing to get the wheelwell to fit. Rework the flaps The tires and wheel half are from Obscurco but I did the masters a few years ago and they cast it for me. I recut the tire diamond thread and open up the spoke and added a valve stem. I reworkin the main gear strut, the torque link was thined and open. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

'moeggo' it was painted a light brown and let dry then I drybrushed a darker shade of brown. Was also done with a brush, kind of gives it a uneven look. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Made a fuel gauge and fuel coupling between the tank and aircraft. Also made the electrical harness with fine wire, also made a cover just aft of the fuel tank. wingman47 Posted September 17, 2008 Author Share Posted September 17, 2008 I installed the windshield and blended it in, the reason is that the fit is not good. I filled the gaps with super glue, sanded it then polished it. I also coated it with future floor wax, with the help of a cotton tipped applicator. Going to start painting soon. Here is a few photos.
