RotorheadTX
I just returned from a trip to Baton Rouge, and I have the recce report on local hobby shops: "There can be only one." Actually, there is only one, if you don't count the Hobby Lobby shops. The place is called Hobby Towne - NOT a HobbyTownUSA as it shows up on Google Maps. It's at 8484 Airline Highway, on the west side of the highway, across from the Cortana Mall. It's a mixed model, RR, and R/C shop, but had a surprisingly good selection of models, including lots of old rarities. I give it a definite thumbs up, and recommend it to all ARCers passing through. RotorheadTX
Made another visit last week, and I'm happy to say they're still going strong. Just an amazing inventory of new and old kits of all scales and genres. http://www.hobbytownebatonrouge.com/
carlizle84
I second that. I just moved to Baton Rouge from Irving, TX, and I have to say that I really, really like Hobby Towne alot. Very clean store, and a TON of new and old kits. There are very few kits I've seen online that Hobby Towne doesn't have.
