theplasticsurgeon
Radome painted gloss very dark grey At this point I noticed that the Airfix and Hasegawa models are more round that the Italeri one. Now I've framed the cockpit: Edited August 20, 2010 by theplasticsurgeon
ElectroSoldier
Not only that, they are more rounded under the canopy too, which is wrong :(
nimrod77
Not only that, they are more rounded under the canopy too, which is wrong The Italeri one is wrong. Hasegawa is the most accurate representation of an F-111 in any scale.
ElectroSoldier
It is in most all places except the area below the cockpit entry window. On the real deal it has a slightly flattened appearance, it is a continuation of the flattened appearence of the fusalage forward of the compressor spikes

Constant Guard and Linebacker2 action - does anyone know the later history for this plane? Yes I do have the full history on 67-0065, but itwill be released in a HUGE project titled The Mighty VARK
