My first thougth was a -109..but that wuickly faded when i saw the two seats

now considering your first post..I am going to have to take a stab in the dark and say it looks like an early sikorsky helicopter...not sure an exact model..but thats my broad guess.

And you will also note that the tire is just flat on the bottom, but NOT BULGED!!! Take that resin bulged tire makers! ;)

As for the new photo, tail wheel of a Saab Draken?

Correct - that didn't last long - this one is probably too easy then...

Yes it is a Corsair - I forget which museum though - I'll have to go back and look. I took that walkaround before the NMMC opened. Good job!
