Okay, tough for me, easy for you!! You win a cookie!! Good job! 59-2577 on display at Grand Forks. Pics taken August 2007 but she's been re-painted and I've yet to see the new look.

I want to say A-4 Nose gear well for the second one and I still have to think about the first one...

The first one bothers me. Some WWII fighter with tricycle undercarriage, but can't be Airacobra..? Or an early jet fighter like Shooting Star?

Yeah, I was thinking T-33/P-80 but it doesn't have the landing/taxi lights on it. Other than that it looks pretty right though

You guys are thinking along the right lines. I did an early/really late mix on those two shots.

Oh, and here's a hint. That isn't a P-80, but it isn't far from one.

I guess we had that jet with the four engine nacelles at the start of the thread, but I can't remember the name.
