Eurofighters - All Variants

Recommended Posts

Weather was not top on June 9th for the 50th anniversary of JG-74 at Zell-Neuburg, but there was a Jubileumsmaschine:

Something new, a Rofighter (not a Typhoon...) of Nörvenich JBG-31

For connoisseurs only. That day was really the one of the local Eurofighters.

A few more Coningsby Typhoon pics.

Profiles...

Underside shots for reference, check out the pre-shading opportunity on the intake trunking and the weathering around the main gear doors

Litening pod on the centre line....

If you want to break up the monotony of a solid grey scheme, pick out one or two panels in a different shade.

Finally, over the North Sea at twenty thousand feet.......

Hey, I can dream can't I? :D

Not much detail can be seen but I quite liked it. :P

Cheers.

Last week at Zell-Neuburg the "Alarmrotte" (QRA) Rofighters

Two hunchbacks... I really dislike the look of the two-seater Eurofighter - yes Rofighters not Tyffies! I was in Germany.

The photos of the QRA jets was a nice catch!

Understand your dislike for the two seater but they gotta train the crews somehow :D

Cheers

I'll bring this one back from the depths with some Typhoon shots from Airpower 2013 at Zeltweg yesterday:

Kind of an arty shot of a Spanish two holer being towed out to its spot in the static park in the morning:

And the same aircraft later in the day:

Here's a couple of the Austrian Typhoon solo:

I should have posted this here, but I did not find the tread then.

Tactical Air Wing 74 (used to be JG 74), the only Member of the NATO Tigers that do not have a Tiger in their patch revealed thei Tiger Meet 2014 scheme.

It has been far too quiet here!

Saw the third prototpe (IPA3) performing it's display at the 60's anniversary of the German Armed Forces. :woot.gif:/>

Unfortunately it was against the sun, so here are a couple of shots from the ground.
