Both will be 11th cav markings

HH-65C USCG

If I find a spare pilot door (cut doors out of front clear section), lost LH door section.

1/48 Acadamy CH-46 built as a 1963 Canadian Army CH-113 Voyageur.

1/48 Acadamy Kv-107 built as a 1995 Canadian Forces CH-113A Labrador.

1/48 Itelari CH-47C built as a 1989 Canadian Forces CH-147 Chinook.

Going to have to toss some old models to make room for these big boys.

Count me in, I really got into building helos last year when I had to do some for a project.

I'm going to build their A/C that was on static at Miramar last year. It doesn't have much in the way of markings, in fact they had just gotten the 53 from HMH-769, IIRC, so they just painted out a couple letters and numbers.

But I got a lot of good walk around pics.

Back when I was in, they were still running the UDP program. Every six months 53's were being swapped - partial paint overs was the norm. It made for some very interesting, yet subtle, variations in the over paint scheme. I am also looking forward to your work.
