Harold
for the Revell F-86D. I know Italian Models made one some time ago. I also read somewhere that they were going to re-do the masters and re-release it. I checked their web site and no mention of it. I am seeing if there is enough interest in the conversion to see if I want to invest in a larger pressure tank. Just throwing it out there...... Cheers, Harold
ThePhantomTwo
Can you consider the extended wings of the F-86L as well since you'll have to tackle that anyways with the K.
Boman
I`m in :) PS! Clear resin cockpit cover would really make this excellent - specially as I am not exactly a fan of vacum formed cockpits

So that will have to be left up to the guys that can do it.

Harold
no.....but how about a FJ-2 conversion? That should be done in a full kit!! I did one years ago. Using the Monogram and ESCI kits. If you aren't doing the prototypes, the fuselage is thicker than the F-86. You probably have seen this: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....mp;hl=fj-3+fury
Cobrahistorian
Can you consider the extended wings of the F-86L as well since you'll have to tackle that anyways with the K. I'm all for a K also. I'm in the midst (ok, haven't touched it in months, but I am working on it!) of doing an F-86E and L using the Hasegawa Saber Mk6 and Revellogram F-86D. Some minor cuts were needed, but the wings match up beautifully! Jon

Harold, When I get back to it, I'll definitely do that. I've got several other projects that are taking priority right now, but I will get back to it! Just need to clear some space off my workbench, I've got a TON of helicopters building right now. Jon

Gene K
Yes, as well as the pylons... The early Ks had "small" wings. Gene K

Boman
Vingtor 48-006 decals is the one I plan to use, just need a proper conversion set yet The cockpit might not be a problem, if I recall the Italian Kit correctly, it relied on using the F-86D cockpit cover - does anybody know if this is correct? That is correct. It was to use the all the kit parts, except for the fuselage sections.

I want to do the correct gun sight and instrument panel at least for the 'pit. The ones I have found has the A-4 gun sight. I already have one made for the F-84F's
