Rocat
Ok! This is a very nice GB, and there are so many good WIPs here... Let's join the fun! My entry: Eighties vintage: First steps: I'm going for the 1942, all-yellow, Royal Canadian Air Force version. Thanks for looking! Rocat
Hi! Getting there, slowly...I painted it with Tamiya Xf66 first, then Tamiya X2, finally Gunze H329...some decals broke up...Micro Sest/Sol helped keeping them in place, somehow... Thanks for looking! Thommo
I really like that - think I'll try to get one and make it up as my next (slow slow) build
Rocat
Thank you Thommo. It's a very nice kit, not the easiest build, but very interesting and good looking when finished. cheers.
dogsbody
Looking good. What decals are you using?
Rocat
Thank you dogsbody ! Decals are from the box...this version represents a Noorduyn Norseman IV, Royal Canadian Air Force, 1942. Cheers!
Cap'n Wannabe
Nice one!
dogsbody
Those must be a later edition set of decals. My kit's decals are for an 8th Air Force aircraft with D-DAy stripes and a Canadian civilian aircraft used by Northway Aviation. I bought the kit in the late 80's and I think the decals are the ones that were in the first release of the Norseman. Anyone with an extra set of the RCAF decals they would be willing to sell or trade for?
Rocat
Hi dogsbody. Here is a scan from the painting guide: Colour A, they say is Revell Yellow Matt 15. colour B is Revell Aluminium 99. Cheers.
