Antoine
It's already dark outside, and the artificial light is not exactly what is needed for the pics. I had a try anyway: The colour looks too much lighter in the pics, but not so in reality. Anyway, I'll have to darken it with some filters. All the wheels were painted with a different kind of OD from the lifecolor set.
Antoine
Tracks building. My first time with friul, but no sweat, it very easy. I'm working ten links by ten links. 150 to go...
Antoine
Thanks for the kind words everyone. One track nearly finished, still one to go. I keep it for tomorrow! For this one, I was just having some try, to assess the correct lenght while keeping the possibility for the suspension to be "workable". One link to remove at least, I think. avn
Could you please post more pictures of your progress? Want to see how you paint the track and final look of this tank. M41, M48 and M113 are workhorse to defend and fight for South Vietnam freedom.

Antoine
Hi Paul, That's exactly what I'm doing. Just finished my little citroën, finishing the D-520, and then the diorama to get along with. The U-boot is close to be finished too. Then it will be the Pz.III ausf.N. And then, the M41, but I still miss the gun mantlet...

Thanks! Same here. I've been searching for it since more than a year! And each time i've found one on ebay, it was too late for biding. It's OOP, I think, because the late M41 boxes (German army) have the mantlet incuded in the box...
Brad-M
Hi, Nice progress so far. I plan on building this as a South Vietnamese tank as well. I did a Google search and have discovered many photos of these tanks without the dust cover, so you could always build it without, as they did have both. I don't have the cover either and that is my plan. Just a thought. Brad
