fallingh2os
Nice job on your 412, really very impressive! I have one question though, I too have the same kit and intend to build it as a PAF SAR Huey. From the box art and looking at the fuselage half I feel the nose is a bit flat and the windscreen too wide. I checked some line drawings of a UH-1N from Squadron/Signals Huey and its nose has a different profile. I don't know if I'm seeing things or is there some descripancies? VG 33
Hi You really made a fantastic job with this kit. Patrick

hooknladderno1
Michael, Excellent build! I have long admired the 412, and began a home made conversion of the old Revell 1/32 scale Huey kit. As I am not much of a sculptor, I had tried to carve the new cowling and transmission housing out of dense foam block. The project has been stalled for some time... Your work is an inspiration! I may try to pick up one of the Dragon kits, and work from there. Could you share with us the sources for your cowling, and tubing for the high skids? Thanks again, beautiful work. Sincerely, David
Tgoetz
The nose profile on this kit was discussed in length on several forums. It was determined that it is in fact incorrect and Cobra Company has released a correction.

BK-117
A little update today: I could nearly finish the main rotor, so i have only to build the four pitch links and add them to the main rotor head. I also added mesh to the cabin air inlet. So only a few things to do: - scratching the pitch links with wire - scratching the winch - scratching the antennas Greetings from Austria Michael ____________________________________________________________________________ future projects: - BK-117 in Helitalia livery with radar nose in 1:32 (D-HDNO) - EC-145 in Helitalia livery in 1:32 (D-HDER) - Bell 206L in Austrian Ministry of the Interior livery , used for EMS in the 1980`s (OE-BXF)
