Indian AF Su-30MKIs at Nellis

Recommended Posts

Yes - in 1:72 scale - except that it is increasingly difficult to find.

Hasegawa only did the single-seater - and the Nakotne/Encore/Berjut/Zvezda re-boxings are rubbish.

In 1:48 scale, the only way to go is the Academy kit.

In 1:32, Trumpeter have just released a Su-27UB.

But for either scale you would have to do the same conversion that I did on my 1:72 scale Heller kit.

Cheers Ken, I`m motivated by your excellent build, I really want to build one of these superb looking A/C.

:D Beautiful pics Randy, thank you for sharing them with us.

,

Ross.

Thanks Ross! :)

Good GOD it's HOT here in Vegas!!! :yahoo:

Spent day one out between the runways getting shots of the Indians, South Koreans, and the French (and anything else that was flying!)

Heading back out tomorrow

I've decided that when I get back to Kansas that I need to get my head examined because this ain't right!

I got in the car at 6:30pm and it was reading 113 degrees!

What drives us to do this!?!?!?!?!

It was awesome meeting and shooting with you yesterday John...hope you had fun burning off the rest of that rental car gas lol! :P

I did indeed have fun Randy!

It was great getting to hang out and shoot (and chat) with you

That's one of the nice things about having a rental car where you've prepaid for the gas. You can keep the engine running (which means AIR CONDITIONING) when it's over 100 degrees outside!

I'll post a few of my photos once I get them sorted

Hopefully I'll see you during the 09-01 Flag!

Cheers!

John

Only 113F? Sissy

Great pics guys. Sorry to have missed another photo op. We're trying like hell to get close enough to Iran's border so I can score a Tomcat/Phantom/Fulcrum photo, but they wont play along.

Jeff

It actually got up to about 130F/140F out there between the runways on the media days

Is that more what you're used to?

BTW, your buddy from Germany (Daniel) wanted me to pass along his best

Funny how the Iranians don't want to get their photos taken!
