Hasegawa 1/32 kit

Hi all

I am trying to locate a 1/32 Hasegawa F/A18a kit. I tried the Marketplace but no luck. Does anyone know if this might be a discontinued kit? Anyone know of a website that handles old or uopened kits? Would love to do a 1/32 18a.

This may or may not answer the question.. The hasegawa F-18 isn't really an "A" - it's actually a pre-production version. There was a fairly extensive write up in the detail n scale on how to correct it .

If you want to make an A it's not hard, just get an Academy "C" and get the BlackBox F-18A set. The major differences are the horizontal stabs and pit.

SO if you are looking to build an A and aren't set on the Hasegawa kit, I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding an Academy kit, or the BB set.

I see 'em occasionally on eBay. I know for a fact that Top Shelf models (Owasso, Oklahoma- just north of Tulsa) has one on the shelf, about $60. Not sure if they ship, but it might be worth a call.
