Hal Marshman Sr
This is an old white metal Superior figure that I painted in the late seventies, and my first 90mm figure. Superior did a series of Revolutionary War figures during the bi-centennial years. Hal Sr
Helo_Dud
Great Looking Figure, detail work is sharp and clean. It's holding up well being painted over 30 years ago. Joe
Hal Marshman Sr
Hello Helo Dud, Figure was painted with enamels specifically formulated for white metal figures. They were every bit as vivid as oils. The company was forced to change their formula by the Gov't due to lead content.,and of course the new paints were much duller, and they just stopped. Can't remember their name, but the same company cast figures. Too bad, as you can see, they were really nice. brgds, Hal Sr
