Collin
Decided I wanted to build a tank for a change, side by side with my 1/32 ME-109G-6 on the bench. This is a pretty easy kit to throw together. I'm sure there are folks out there that are going to ding me on some panzer do's and don'ts, but this one if for fun and trying out some new weathering techniques. OOB except for using some screening from a broken window. Seemed to look about right and it was super easy to put over the vents. Painted today in a ambush scheme, guess that would place it in France or Germany in '44-'45. Now I get to let it dry and figure out how I am going to attack this sucker and weather it. Cheers Collin Photo of the window screening I used and what it looked like after I glued it in place: Before painting and after my primer coat of RLM66: And as she stands now in the paint booth drying, three tone with splinter ambush scheme:
HWR MKII
Good work so far. You have made the old kit look good. Did you add sponsons under the main hull to close the gaping holes running along it?
