toolo12
Hey, The title say it all - looking for photos of Turkish F-4e 2020 (nicknamed "Terminators") with AGM-142 Popeye payload. Also - which TUAF sqd carries those aircrafts with this payload and if there are aftermarkets decals for this sqd. or for TUAF F-4e in general (1/48)? TIA, Danny Edited October 1, 2008 by toolo12
omar
Hello Danny, The squadron you are asking is 111st Squadron "Panthers" based in Eskisehir. I have personally designed and painted the whole squadron tails with their new squadron logo. Since It has only been few weeks with their new markings there are no after market decals available currently. Before that they were flying without any squadron markings for several years. I will let you know as soon as a decal sheet available in the near future best Omer ERKMEN From TURKEY

omar
Yes it is the same color, FS 36118. Actually it is possible to cut the form from the foil, I can send you the logo in vector form if you want. Best Omer

Diego
This is indeed one of the best looking Phantom markings! TuAF Phantoms (Panther and Dagger sqn F-4Es and lizard RF-4Es) will be covered in a forthcoming HI-DECAL sheet soon! The sheet will also include Turkish stencilling. Cheers Diego

toolo12
Hi Omer, Very cool design as well! Did you also design the tail art of 132 Dagger filo? What about the Checkmate horse on the intake? Edited October 2, 2008 by toolo12
AndrewS
Omer, Congratulations on the use of your design on the 111 Filo aircraft and likewise if your work is used on the 132 Filo jets; both look very good. Thanks very much for your fascinating photos! Cheers, Andrew.

Thanks Toolo12, 132 Dagger squadron and Checkmate Horse are my designs also. 132. Squadron has a very special training program CWIP, known as "Weapons and Tactics" in short. I've designed a patch for this special program. Instructors, Graduates and Support units are wearing this patch. This is why they are also using this design on their aircraft. They are also operating F-16s in this squadron, they wear the same markings as well Best Omer ERKMEN From TURKEY

Thank you very much Andrew, As a modeler it is so unbelievable to see your own design on an aircraft :-) I can't wait to see them released as a decal sheet. There you go, same markings on a F-16 from the same squadron. Best Omer ERKMEN From TURKEY
