Supertom
Hi everyone, I'm trying to do some what-iffing and I need an inaccurate Mig-29. The Hasegawa's not inaccurate enough and I plain just don't like the Fujimi. Has anyone seen the Esci kit? I might be able to get some cheap at a model show but I'd really like to know how it is shapewise. Thanks!

Supertom
Aw sweet, thanks Jackman! I tried Google but didn't get any luck finding anything like that. Looks like the wings are kinda big.
JasonW
It is even more inacurate than Hasegawa. It has a very bad cockpit and canopy and the shape issues are numerous.
JackMan
My pleasure. If you'd like to compare the various Mig-29 kits, this is a good site: http://www.k2.dion.ne.jp/%7Ekonjyo/mig29/mig29list.htm But it's in Japanese. I got around by randomly clicking all the links. But you can make out some English words like ICM, KP, etc. They are classified by 1/32, 1/48 & 1/72. HTH

The Hasegawa's not inaccurate enough and I plain just don't like the Fujimi. If you want a cheap and really inaccuarte MiG-29, you might have a look at Hobbycraft's (Idea) MiG-29. It looks like a Fulcrum and it is IMHO the most inaccurate one out there.
Berkut
Just buy either ICM new 9-13 (make sure it is not condor rebox!) or Italeri 9-12. Those two are the best ones in 1/72.
Laurent
Those two are the best ones in 1/72. Supertom's looking for the worst ones not the best. Ps: I'm an inaccurate MiG-29. Just noticed that. It ruined my day. Edited October 17, 2008 by Laurent
