jrallman
geeze, with the exorbitant price of their 1/48 C-47, I can't imagine how much this will cost
Dave Williams
It's a typo, it's really 1/48 scale. The dimensions are the same as their 1/48 C-47, and the kit numbers are similar.
Huey Gunner
2 foot wingspan. Where would you put it?
David Walker
As Dave mentions above, that's the 1/48 kit.
panzercreations
As Dave mentions above, that's the 1/48 kit. oh well.. guess we cant have it all
richter111
Actually if I am not staken, you CAN build the B-17, B-24 and C-47 in 1/32 scale. Gullows makes a non-flying kit, with plastic vacuformed noses, nacelles and such. Ric

How is the framework on the kit compared to a real B-17? Does the kit design use the actual B-17 design ? or is it just a model kit airframe? really just concerned about the visibale areas, cockpit, nose etc.
Jennings
oh well.. guess we cant have it all Yep. That, contrary to what many Americans have been foolishly led to believe, is exactly right. You can't have it all. In fact, you can't even have most of it. :D J
richter111
From the kit I saw at my Local Hobby store, it appears to be the stringer and frame work. I checked it out, and seriously thought of trying building it with soda/beer can aluminum to simulate the overlapped panels and rivets. I just think it is beyond me personally so I did not get it. Ric http://www.hobbysetcohio.com/gui2002.html http://www.hobbyplace.com/aircraft/airplanes_balsa.php That last one shows a bunch of their aircraft Hope this helps RIc
Hawk10
IIRC, most of the Guillow kits mentioned are actually 1/28, not 1/
manitouguy
i am currently doing the b25 mitchell by guillows - of all of them it, and i think the dc3? are advertised as 3/8" = 1' (1/32) the others are listed as a bit larger - 1/28 or 1/29 regards, Ron
richter111
the more I looked at it, I noticed that 1/28 seems to be the scale. pretty close, and it would not look out of place on a shelf of 1/32 models Ric
