junglejim38
Gently sanding the metal with fine grade sandpaper or a bit of Scotchbrite pad roughs up the surface and seems to help the paint 'bite' better. Also helps the superglue stick a little better. I usually go over the whole fret laid down on a piece of glass first so there is less chance of catching and bending things with the sandpaper. Maybe a soak in vinegar or lacquer thinner to get rid of contaminants? Jim
