DiamondBug
Hello all  As you can see, this is my first documented build on ARC. For starters, 1 question: Is the Centreline fuel tank provided in this kit the late-style one and if it is not how should I modify it? Primer is on and pictures will come soon. DiamondBug
Update: Burner cans and ejection seat done along with a scratchbuilt oxygen hose for the pit. Glued into the fuselage now... with the IFF antennas removed. Comments and suggestions welcome!
DiamondBug
Update: Wheel wells have been masked and sprayed white. I used post-its to mask the areas around the bays and made use of Tamiya's White Primer. It turned out rather nicely and the details in the bays are very visible. Aggressor Supporter
Nice work so far there!
DiamondBug
Why, thanks AggressorSupporter, thats very kind (: Major progress today: Painting time! Dark and light ghost gray sprayed onto the airframe, hand painted the silver and white. Currently rushing to reach the deadline and will work overnight to complete. Paint was still drying when these pics were taken... Enjoy!
DiamondBug
I don't believe myself. I am almost done! 90% of the model is done and it is awaiting the flat coat and the landing gears. Decals went on beautifully and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Comments welcome!
DiamondBug
I'm done! Landing gears, gear bay doors, pods and the AIM-9's were finished. Its been an enjoyable build and I'm proud to be part of this GB. Comments welcome!
