Najk
Hey guys, As stated some weeks ago in the production line, I had a Hornet that qualified for this GB. This is the Hasegawa 1/72 scale F/A-18C Hornet. Will finish it as a bird from Kuwaiti Air Force, with the excellent Orion Decals. I had this bird all painted up and sprayed on the clear coat. I tried a new (to me) paint brand for the clearthis time, the Vallejo Air range. I can tell you that their Clear SUCKS! I got so much orange peel I actually thought about throwing this Hornet in the bin. Luckily I didn't do that. I stripped the paint and started all over again. First two (out of three) colors on already, third and clear coat tomorrow. This time I'll go with a well tried brand, the Tamiya Clear. Loadout will be a fuel tank on the center pylon, empty inner wing pylons, the outer wing pylons removed, and inert AIM-9 on right wingtip. Feel free to comment! CraigSargent
Nice to see a Kuwaiti Hornet getting some love. Always liked the adversary-like colour scheme on these. Nice work on the painting so far. Hopefully better luck with the clear coat this time.
Najk
Well, the Tamiya clear is a proven brand for me, so it shouldn't be all that difficult.. :) Thanks for the comments! I like the Kuwaiti Hornets for the same reason. :)

Najk
Thanks guys! Now let's just hope that I'll finish it in time... Right now it looks a bit on the dark side though, pretty much left with decalling and all, and me being away from home for a few days both this and next week.. Let's keep our fingers crossed, eh!?
