Rocat
Hi! Here are my build's first few steps large amounts of resin and plastic must be taken off in order to "close" the wings... I started the work by hand, but it was going to take too long a time...so I got myself a cheap motor tool... This one is not going to be easy...let's hope for the best! bye for now roberto Edited January 30, 2009 by Rocat

VG 33
Hi Rocat I love this aircraft and I am looking forward. Patrick
Rocat
thank you for your support... I'm not yet getting a good fit for the wings ... but that's nothing compared to the the fuselage parts' "fit" ... a quick dry run on the parts showed me that the real "fun" has yet to come this one is going to be really interesting bye for now roberto Edited November 22, 2008 by Rocat
marine4 ever
i too love this kit but man is it a nightmare to get right. will follow this for sure, semper fi Dan
Rocat
Hi! ...some slow and very painful progress.. clamp-o-rama! In my entry post I wrote about the stunning work done by Mr. Lambert, testament to the fact that this kit can be used to get a showstopper...but not by me ;-) Dan, after the first few steps I understood that I won't get this one right, but I will give it a try! bye for now roberto
Rampage55
Looks like your off to a good start Roberto. Just take you time and test fit, sand, test fit, sand, test fit, sand and then......test fit again, you'll get there. Ciao Mark
jordan03
I feel that sometimes I get the most satisfaction from getting a crappy kit to look good. I've seen your work and I know you will make it look great! Best of luck -Brian
Rocat
thank you Gentlemen! some progress made with the office and engine nacelles...a LOT more of work needed for the joints... bye for now! roberto
Julien (UK)
Nice work, I will be watching this one as have that kit to build. What are you using for seat belts as they look really good. Julien
Rocat
Thanks Julien! Belts are just prepainted Eduards I already had, don't think they are the right type for that era... bye for now roberto
marine4 ever
well done so far. now show me more! semper fi Dan
Rocat
Hi :-) here I am with a quick update: cockpit, front wheel well, engines' nozzles and air intakes are (more or less) in place...I had a very difficult time getting them there! I added some weight in the nose, too... Now I will have to join the fuselage halves...this will be very hard do do, but let's try! Thanks for looking! roberto
jimz66
Great stuff Roberto. Very well done. Very well done. That cockpit looks super. Edited December 27, 2008 by jimz66
jbrundt
Great job man. But, I am soooooo glad I sold this kit earlier this year You are certainly the better man for tackling this beast of a kit. Jeff
AX 365
Looking very good so far Roberto. Keep it up Mike
Rocat
Thank you for your feedback guys :-) Fuselage got glued together...I had so hard a time that I forgot to take pictures while fighting with it...I used 3 different glues and clamps, and plasticard to fill the gaps, too wide for putty... This creature is huge! Took a pic beside a 1/48 262 Cheers roberto Edited December 29, 2008 by Rocat
